Early Years

Founded by Anshoo Nath, a graduate of the prestigious National Institute of Design (NID), our company began by providing high-quality external production services for iconic Indian brands like Fabindia and Ritu Kumar. With a deep understanding of textiles and craftsmanship, the company quickly earned a reputation for excellence.

 

Riding the wave of the 1990s export boom, it expanded its footprint internationally, entering key markets in the United Kingdom, France, and Japan. Our diverse client base ranged from boutique stores to luxury hotels, and included renowned names such as Harrods and Portmeirion. This strategic global expansion established the company as a trusted partner in the textile industry, blending Indian craftsmanship with international standards to meet the demands of premium global markets.

Expansion

The company began its expansion into the Middle East by establishing a presence in Dubai, a thriving hub for international trade and commerce. Anshoo Nath collaborated with the Landmark Group, one of the region’s largest retail conglomerates, to produce their fall and winter furnishing collections.

 

These collections showcased the company’s ability to adapt to regional preferences while maintaining high-quality standards. Additionally, the long-standing partnerships with iconic Indian brands like Fabindia and Anokhi played a pivotal role in gaining access to the expanding local market. These collaborations not only strengthened the company’s foothold in the region but also positioned it as a reliable provider of premium textile solutions, catering to both traditional and contemporary design needs.

A New Direction

Following the untimely passing of its visionary founder, Anshoo Nath, due to cancer, the company faced a period of profound transition. Operations were temporarily halted as her son, Kabir Khare, took on the challenging task of restructuring the business to honor her legacy while steering it toward a sustainable future.

 

In 2015, the company was reborn as Cevvanti®, embracing a renewed vision and a modernized approach. With its relaunch, Cevvanti® expanded its reach by entering the online retail space, making its high-quality textile solutions more accessible than ever. The company also diversified its focus to cater to the hospitality, healthcare, and export sectors, offering specialized products and services that combined contemporary design with exceptional craftsmanship to meet the evolving demands of global markets.
